NerdCircle is run by Cozmic Ltd, a company registered in England. By creating an account or playing a game you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use NerdCircle.

• •You must be at least 13 years old to have an account.
• •Give accurate details and keep your login credentials to yourself.
• •You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• •One human, one account. Don't create accounts to pad a scoreboard.

Word circles are only fun if everyone plays straight. So please don't:

• •Use bots, scripts, solvers or automated word lists to submit words.
• •Create extra accounts to join your own games or inflate leaderboards.
• •Use offensive, impersonating or misleading display names or avatars.
• •Interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, or try to access other players' data.
• •Share invite links somewhere you wouldn't want strangers to find them — anyone with a link can join that game.

We can suspend or remove an account, remove content, or end a game where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

When you upload a screenshot of a word circle, you confirm you have the right to upload it and that doing so doesn't breach anyone else's rights, including the rights of the newspaper or publisher it came from. You keep ownership of what you upload; you give us permission to store and process it so we can run your game. We can remove uploaded content if we're asked to or if it breaks these terms.

NerdCircle isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any newspaper or puzzle publisher.

Words are validated automatically using dictionary sources and AI assistance. It's good, but it isn't perfect: a real word may occasionally be rejected, or an odd one accepted. Decisions made in-game are final for that game — if something looks badly wrong, email us and we'll look at the underlying checks.

NerdCircle is provided "as is" and free of charge. We don't promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, pause or discontinue features at any time. We may close inactive accounts after a long period of inactivity, with notice by email where possible.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits or lost bragging rights arising from your use of NerdCircle. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to £100. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited under English law — including your rights as a consumer.

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
